Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because one of the grades open is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Initial training in health, safety or prevention is preferred
The profile they look for:
- Initial training in health, safety or prevention is preferred
- Knowledge of health and safety rules and practices at work
- Good knowledge of workstation ergonomics
- Driving licence (permis B) is essential
- A first aid certificate would be an advantage (PSC, SST, SSIAP)
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
