Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

Diploma: BEP level at least, in horticultural knowledge
The profile they look for:
- Tree-pruning specialist certificate.
- Horticultural knowledge, BEP level at least.
- Knows safety rules and instructions well.
- Category B driving licence required.
- Dynamic, rigorous and punctual.
- Able to work in a team or alone.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Certifications needed to drive horticultural machines.
- Adjoint technique grades, category C.
