Civil servants and contract staff. No competitive exam is needed, because the entry grade (adjoint d'animation, category C) allows direct hiring.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Caring about children's needs and well-being.
- Able to support children with disabilities.
- Able to adapt your approach to each child.
- Available Monday to Friday, except Wednesday, at lunchtime.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Position to be filled as soon as possible. Interviews are held on Tuesdays.
- Work from 11:30 to 14:00, with a weekly meeting on Friday.
- Municipal meals provided (benefit in kind).
- No remote work possible.
