Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The post is open at entry-level category C grades, so a person who has not passed a competition can be hired.

Diploma: BAFA or equivalent
The profile they look for:
- BAFA or equivalent at minimum.
- Responsible for children's physical and emotional safety.
- Sense of responsibility and ability to adapt.
- Good people skills, team spirit and energy.
- Interest in supporting projects and running activities for varied groups.
- Good listening skills, discretion and a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 11 (Closes in 10 days)
Send your application by email to the town's human resources department, for the attention of the Mayor. You can also apply on the employer's website linked from the official offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Post vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Working time is annualised.
- Works on Wednesdays and during school holidays.
- Remote work is not possible.
