1 Check the conditions You are here
Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA or equivalent (required)
The profile they look for:
- BAFA or equivalent, required.
- Knowledge of the rules for children's group care.
- Teaching knowledge about children aged 3 to 12.
- Good team player and good listener.
- Able to organise, set priorities and manage time.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 1 (Closes today)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your file to the town hall by email or by post.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Annual working time: 1h55 per day at lunchtime in after-school care (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday).
- At the leisure centre: 8h45 per day.
- Meeting on Monday morning.
