Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.

Diploma: BAFA or equivalent
The profile they look for:
- BAFA or equivalent required.
- Experience with children is a plus.
- Sense of public service and the common good.
- Keep children physically, morally and emotionally safe.
- Communicate and work as a team.
- Independence, organisation, rigour and energy.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Part time: 29 h 03 per week, annualised schedule.

- Mandatory income protection: the employer pays 55% of the contribution.
