Civil servants of the local public service and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.

Diploma: BAFA (or in progress)
The profile they look for:
- Hold the BAFA or be working towards it.
- Know how to design activities suited to children's age.
- Know hygiene and safety rules.
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Creativity and initiative.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C post, adjoint d'animation grade.
- School-term hours, early morning, lunchtime and late afternoon.
- Full-time or part-time posts of 24h30 per week.
