Civil servants (educateur de jeunes enfants grades, including classe exceptionnelle) and contract staff can apply. The job is open to permanent civil servants and contract staff.

- Knowledge of the rules for childminders and the employer status of private employers
- Knowledge of young children's development and needs
- Active listening and interview techniques
- Techniques for running groups of adults and children
- Knowledge of labour law and social law
- Ability to adapt teaching to the child and their family
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Membership of the CNAS, contribution to income protection insurance, and health insurance contribution subject to conditions.
