Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired directly for this category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA required
The profile they look for:
- BAFA (French youth leader certificate) required.
- Similar experience in a local authority is a plus.
- Knowledge of group activity and supervision techniques.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules for children's centres.
- Public service mindset, rigour and teamwork.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 2 (Closes in 3 days)
Apply through the ad on the employer's site. Send your CV and cover letter to the HR department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- A certificate of good character (attestation d'honorabilité) under 6 months old is required to be hired.
- 15 hours a week spread over the year at St Avit school.
