Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The job is open at the Adjoint d'animation grade, without a competitive exam. A contract worker may be hired if no civil servant application succeeds.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAPAAT, or BAFA/CPJEPS
Experience: 1 year of experience in activities at lunchtime and evenings preferred
The profile they look for:
- Know the basics of teaching and education
- Know the basic needs of children aged 3 to 13
- Run activity projects
- Be organised, able to plan ahead and rigorous
- Be able to observe and listen to children
- Have good people skills and a sense of teamwork
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Part-time post: 4h15 per day over 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) during school time
- During school holidays: 7 weeks at 47h30
- A few Wednesdays possible depending on service needs
- Driving licence B preferred
