Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade of adjoint d'animation is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA or an equivalent qualification is required
The profile they look for:
- BAFA or an equivalent qualification is required.
- PSC1 first aid certificate required.
- Know the rhythm of children aged 3 to 11.
- Be able to plan activities around children's rhythms.
- Good listening, dialogue and teamwork skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
