Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA or an equivalent recognised diploma
Experience: Experience supervising children, if possible
The profile they look for:
- BAFA diploma or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Good skills in activity techniques to lead a group of children
- Good people skills and teaching ability
- Listens well and responds quickly to instructions
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 19 (Closes in 19 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your file to the town hall by post or email before 19 November 2026.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Post vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Work during after-school time, school lunches and school holidays.
- Category C, adjoint d'animation grades.
