Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. The post is open at the animateur grade. A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant applies.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Early childhood educator diploma preferred, or otherwise CAP Accompagnement Educatif Petite Enfance
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of local authorities and how they work.
- Knowledge of children and their development.
- Knowledge of the rules for collective childcare (ACM).
- Ability to look after and keep a group of children safe.
- Energetic, good with people, and a team player.
- Driving licence (permis B) required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 6 (Closes in 5 days)
Send your application by email to the local authority before 6 November 2026. You can also apply through the employer's site linked from the official offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence (permis B) required.
- BAFA is a plus, PSC1 preferred.
- Interviews planned for week 48.
- Mobile workshops: travel and carrying equipment are part of the job.
