Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly for this entry grade of category C.

Diploma: BAFA or BAPAAT (required or wanted)
Experience: Experienced

- BAFA or BAPAAT required or wanted.
- Know child development and children's needs.
- Know the law on supervising minors.
- Good people skills, listening and kindness.
- Be rigorous and organised.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 6 (Closes in 5 days)
Apply on the employer's website, linked from the official offer. Also send your CV and cover letter to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- No remote work.
- Possible work in the evening, at weekends and during the lunch break.
- Holidays must be taken during school holidays only.
