Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA desired, or a diploma allowing work as a leader in group childcare for minors. Applicants currently training for the BAFA may also be considered.
Experience: Beginners accepted. Experience with children or in leisure centres would be a plus.
The profile they look for:
- Know child development and children's needs.
- Know the rules for group childcare for minors.
- Be able to supervise a group of children and keep them safe.
- Be able to propose varied and suitable activities.
- Patience, kindness and a team spirit.
- A sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
