Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of sustainable development and ecological transition.
- Knowledge of the roles of the different local players.
- Good knowledge of the administrative and legal setting of local authorities.
- Good computer skills.
- Good writing skills.
- Ability to run meetings.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by post to the CARF in Menton.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C, administrative assistant grades (principal first or second class, or administrative assistant).
