Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the post is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of child development and youth activity techniques.
- Ability to work in a team and handle conflicts.
- Available during school holidays and on shifted hours.
- Punctuality, good listening skills and patience.
- Good relationship skills with children and teachers.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 29 (Closes in 28 days)
Send your file by email to the human resources team of the community of communes before 29 November 2026. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Post vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Shifted hours depending on service needs, up to 7pm at most.
- Presence required during school holidays.
- Remote work not possible.
