Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA
Experience: Level marked as "confirmed" on the offer; the text also mentions a first experience in youth activities.
The profile they look for:
- Teaching knowledge about the children's needs.
- Able to run activities and adapt them to each group.
- Listen well and talk clearly with children and colleagues.
- Spot emergencies and tell your manager.
- Hold the BAFA diploma.
- Quick to react, discreet and a good team player.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 28 (Closes in 30 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter to the town hall, by post or by email.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Working time is annualised.
- Category C job, with no management role.
