Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. A candidate who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Ideally BAFA, BAPAAT, CAP AEPE or BAFD
The profile they look for:
- Ideally hold the BAFA, BAPAAT, CAP AEPE or BAFD.
- Know the educational values of school-time childcare work.
- Know the values of the territorial civil service (secularism, citizenship).
- Be creative, dynamic, patient and watchful.
- Enjoy working in a team and with children.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 12 (Closes in 44 days)
Apply on the employer's website from the official offer. You can also send your CV and cover letter by post to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Annualised working time: full-time at 100% or part-time at 96%.
- 25 days of leave and 2 days for hardship.
