Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the adjoint d'animation grade is an entry-level category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA or CQP Animateur périscolaire, or equivalent, recommended
Experience: At least one year in the same type of job.

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Part-time split shifts, with breaks at midday and late afternoon.
- Long periods standing and a noisy environment.
- Indoor and outdoor work; adjustments possible when starting the job.
