Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA, CQP animateur périscolaire, CPJEPS, BPJEPS or equivalent
Experience: Experienced; at least one year in the same type of job
The profile they look for:
- Animation diploma required: BAFA, CQP, CPJEPS, BPJEPS or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in the same type of job.
- Knowledge of child development and children's needs.
- Skills in animation techniques and safety rules.
- Listening, patience, creativity and a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time job split across the day, with breaks in between.
- Long periods standing, noisy environment, indoor and outdoor work.
- PSC1 first-aid certificate is desired.
- At least one year in the same type of job is required.
