Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C. A contract worker can be hired when no civil servant application has succeeded.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA (animator certificate)
The profile they look for:
- BAFA diploma.
- Solid knowledge of youth activities.
- Knowledge of DSDEN regulations.
- Knowledge of children.
- Ability to defuse conflicts.
- Strong listening skills, initiative, and good relationships with children.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
