Civil servants and contract agents can apply. The grade is an entry grade of category C, so a person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA or an equivalent diploma
The profile they look for:
- BAFA or an equivalent diploma.
- Know children and their needs.
- Know the rules for collective childcare for minors.
- Be able to lead and manage a group.
- Be able to enforce group rules.
- Adapt well and work in a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply through the official offer page. Send your CV and cover letter by email to the town's recruitment service, addressed to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Job vacant from 1 February 2027.
- Category C, adjoint d'animation grade.
- Direct hiring possible, without a competitive exam.
