- Knowledge of teenagers and their development.
- Knowledge of youth rules and safety regulations.
- Ability to lead and supervise a group.
- Ability to talk with parents and young people.
- Ability to design educational projects.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
