Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the adjoint d'animation grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA, or BAFA trainee and equivalents
The profile they look for:
- Hold the BAFA, or be a BAFA trainee.
- Know child development and children's needs.
- Listen carefully and handle conflicts kindly.
- Follow management instructions and regulations.
- Communicate with the team, families and municipal services.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 8 (Closes in 10 days)
Apply through the official offer on Choisir le Service Public, or send your CV and cover letter by email to the employer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C job, no management duties.
- Remote work not possible.
- Placed under the authority of the leisure centre coordinators.
