1 Check the conditions You are here
Civil servants of the territorial public service and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA, or BAFA trainee, or equivalent
The profile they look for:
- Hold the BAFA, or be a BAFA trainee.
- Know activity techniques in several fields.
- Know child development and children's needs.
- Listen carefully, anticipate and manage conflicts.
- Follow management instructions and regulations.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 8 (Closes in 11 days)
Apply on the employer's website, from the official offer page. You can also send your CV and cover letter by email to the human resources department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Category C post, with no management duties.
- Post vacant from 1 February 2027.
- Work with children in leisure centres.
