Open to civil servants and contract staff. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA or BAFA trainee, or equivalent
The profile they look for:
- Hold the BAFA or be a BAFA trainee
- Know child development and needs
- Listen well, anticipate and manage conflicts
- Write and evaluate projects
- Follow managers' instructions and rules
- Be punctual and reliable
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 2 (Closes in 5 days)
Send your CV and cover letter by email to the city's HR department, as stated in the offer. You can also apply on the employer's site from the official offer page.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Position vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Remote work not possible.
- Category C post, adjoint d'animation grades.
- Special route for disabled workers recognised as such.
