Diploma: BPJEPS, BAFA (or in progress), CAP Petite Enfance or CQP
Experience: Experienced
The profile they look for:
- BPJEPS or BAFA diploma (or in progress), CAP Petite Enfance or CQP.
- Knowledge of childcare group rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of the public, their needs and their development.
- Good listening skills with children and families.
- Clear speech and language suited to the public and partners.
- Ability to write an activity project.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website or email your CV and cover letter to the town hall. Put the job title in the subject line.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- The post is open for 10 similar positions.
- A contract worker's contract is limited to 2 years in total.
- PSC 1 first-aid certificate recommended.
