Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because an entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of DDCS regulations.
- Knowledge and application of the children's rights charter.
- Ensure the child's physical, moral and emotional safety.
- Respect children in their differences.
- Uphold the 6 functions of the activity leader (BAFA reference).
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
