Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.

The profile they look for:
- Keep the child physically, morally and emotionally safe.
- Know the rules for collective childcare for minors (ACM).
- Build a good relationship with young people.
- Work well in a team and know your audience.
- Act as a responsible adult and a good role model.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Annual working time, with irregular hours.
- High availability required, including outside school holidays.
- Remote work not possible.
