Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry-level category C grade allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA required
Experience: Experienced profile wanted; experience supervising children is a plus
The profile they look for:
- BAFA required.
- Experience supervising children is a plus, or ability to work with children.
- Patience and good listening skills.
- Appropriate behaviour and language.
- Ability to bring people together and build group energy.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Category C post, no management duties.
- Grades offered: adjoint d'animation, adjoint d'animation principal 2nd and 1st class.
