Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.

Diploma: BAFA or a diploma listed in article 2 of the order of 9 February 2007
Experience: Experienced

- Holds the BAFA or another diploma listed in the 2007 order.
- Knows child development from age 3 to 17.
- Knows first aid and evacuation procedures.
- Able to design and run leisure activities.
- Public service mindset and team spirit.
- Respects professional confidentiality and safety rules.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's site from the official offer. You can also send your CV and cover letter to the town hall's human resources department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
