Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The post is open to the grades of childcare assistant (normal or higher class) in the territorial civil service.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
The profile they look for:
- Able to analyse the needs of the people welcomed.
- Able to design and run leisure activities suited to different groups.
- Able to plan and follow the budget for activities.
- Able to listen and talk with the public.
- Knows the rhythm of children and teenagers.
- Able to spot young people in difficulty and report the situation.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 13 (Closes in 12 days)
Apply on the employer’s website, from the official offer. Documents can also be sent by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category B post.
- Post vacant from 1 December 2026.
- For a contract worker, the contract cannot exceed 3 years, renewable up to 6 years.
