Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The job can be filled without a competitive exam, because the adjoint d'animation grade is an entry grade in category C.

Diploma: BAFA, CPEJEPS or BPJEPS
The profile they look for:
- Show kindness and natural authority with children.
- Be able to adapt and listen to children, parents and partners.
- Show creativity, energy and a good attitude.
- Apply the rules for collective childcare for minors.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 20 (Closes in 19 days)
Apply on the employer's website or on the official offer page. You can also write to the town hall, preferably by email.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Annual hours: about 13 hours per week for before and after school care.
- About 22 hours per week for the children's centre, on Wednesdays and during holidays.
