Civil servants and contract workers can apply. No competitive exam pass is needed, because the posts are open to the entry grades of adjoint d'animation and adjoint d'animation principal de 2nd class (category C).

The profile they look for:
- Know hygiene and safety rules and the HACCP method.
- Prepare teaching materials and make simple educational items.
- Be independent, organised and rigorous.
- Work well in a team and communicate well with children and families.
- Adapt easily and show initiative.
- Report on your work.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
