Civil servants and contract staff can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Able to look after children aged 3 to 11.
- Strictly apply safety instructions.
- Work well in a team and stay calm.
- Know the territorial civil service and how the local authority works.
- Have teaching knowledge related to children.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
