Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a competitive exam can be hired, because the Adjoint d'animation grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Analyse the needs and characteristics of the public.
- Design and carry out educational projects.
- Supervise leisure activities and adapt them to different groups.
- Listen well and talk easily with the public.
- Spot young people in difficulty and report the situation.
- Prepare and monitor the budget for activities.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 14 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by email to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Part-time job, with an annual schedule.
- Shorter hours in term time and longer hours during holidays.
- Remote work not possible.
- Post vacant from 1 January 2027.
