Open to civil servants and contract agents. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, as the grade is an entry grade in category C.

Diploma: BAFA or a diploma on the list of the 09.02.2007 order, desired
Experience: Confirmed experience, ideally in a local authority
The profile they look for:
- Successful experience in a local authority, BAFA or equivalent diploma desired.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Knowledge of child and teenager development.
- Ability to work in a team, react quickly and communicate.
- Ability to adapt to situations, people and public service duties.
- Valid driving licence ideally required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 21 (Closes in 20 days)
Apply only by postal mail, addressed to the Mayor, using the address given in the official offer. Write the job title and offer number in your cover letter.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- No management role.
- Category C post.
- A contract agent's contract cannot exceed one year, renewable up to 2 years in total.
