1 Check the conditions You are here
Open to civil servants and contract workers. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA or an animation diploma
The profile they look for:
- Hold the BAFA or an animation diploma.
- Analyse the needs of the children and young people.
- Supervise leisure activities suited to each group.
- Talk with the public and lead group activity.
- Spot young people in difficulty and report the situation.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C post, adjoint d'animation grade.
- Post vacant from 1 January 2027.
- The offered contract cannot exceed 3 years, renewable up to 6 years at most.
