Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is a category C entry grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP early childhood care at minimum
Experience: Experienced level; at least 3 years in early childhood activities
The profile they look for:
- CAP early childhood certificate at minimum.
- At least 3 years of experience in early childhood activities.
- Ability to supervise a group of children.
- Able to manage stress, conflicts and difficult situations.
- Good organisation, adaptability and public service mindset.
- Management experience is a plus.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
