Diploma: BAFA, BAPAAT, CAP AEPE or BAFD, or in progress
The profile they look for:
- Hold the BAFA, BAPAAT, CAP AEPE or BAFD, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Punctual, independent, energetic and proactive.
- Able to organise team work.
- Excellent people skills and knowledge of children aged 2½ to 11.
- Good observation and professional listening skills, and respect for regulations.
- Sense of public service and good communication.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
