Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. The adjoint d'animation grade (category C) allows direct hiring without a competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BPJEPS (LTP) or BAFD, or equivalent
The profile they look for:
- BPJEPS (LTP) or BAFD diploma, or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of the rules for group childcare for minors.
- Good listening and observation skills, and ability to lead a group of children.
- Independence, adaptability and teamwork.
- Driving licence (permis B) required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 10 (Closes in 9 days)
Apply on the employer's website through the official offer. You can also send your file by post or by email to the human resources department of the community of communes.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence (permis B) required.
- Full-time annualised: 48 hours in holiday weeks and 10 hours on Wednesdays.
- Possible move to a deputy director role, depending on performance and after being made a civil servant.
- Remote work not possible.
