1 Check the conditions You are here
Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BPJEPS wanted, or an animation diploma
The profile they look for:
- BPJEPS or an animation diploma, or similar experience, is wanted.
- Good command of animation techniques and teaching methods.
- Knowledge of child psychology.
- Hygiene and safety rules, and basic first aid skills.
- Good spoken and written communication, and teamwork.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 26 (Closes in 25 days)
Apply on the employer's website or send your application to the Human Resources Department of the City of Biarritz, by post or by email.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Job vacant from 1 December 2026.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Occasional travel on site and occasional attendance at sports events.
- Grade of Adjoint d'animation, category C.
