Civil servants (permanent staff) and contract workers can apply. The post is open to the grades of animateur, senior animateur (2nd class) or senior animateur (1st class).
Category: Category B (intermediate)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of how a local authority works.
- Animation and teaching techniques.
- Knowledge of project management methods.
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Comfortable speaking in public.
- Interest in ecological transition issues.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
