Civil servants (adjoint d'animation grade) and contract staff can apply. The entry-level category C grade allows direct hiring without a competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of regulations for children's group centres (ACM).
- Knowledge of safety and hygiene rules in ACM.
- Ability to supervise and lead a team.
- Independence, responsiveness and good time organisation.
- Teamwork, rigour and strong ability to adapt.
- Sense of public service and duty of discretion.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Works on Wednesdays and during school holidays.
- Constant contact with children.
- Remote work not possible.
- For contract staff: part-time post, less than 50% of full time.
