Civil servants and contract workers can apply. The post is at the adjoint d'animation grade (category C), open without a competitive exam. A contract worker may be hired if no civil servant has applied.

Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- Know the rules for collective childcare centres for minors.
- Know safety and hygiene rules in childcare centres.
- Able to lead and run a team.
- Be independent, quick to react and well organised.
- Good team spirit and a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 14 (Closes in 17 days)
Send your application by email to the department named in the offer, or by post to the Director General of Services. Write « candidature ne pas ouvrir » on the envelope.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Working days: Wednesdays and school holidays.
- Constant contact with children.
