Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. The open grades are animateur, animateur principal 2nd class and animateur principal 1st class.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Diploma wanted in animation, mediation or cultural policy, to be specified.
The profile they look for:
- Understand the needs of the public and the area.
- Lead projects and bring local players together.
- Know animation and communication methods and digital tools.
- Be creative, adaptable and rigorous.
- Enjoy direct contact and fieldwork.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence (permis B) required.
- Occasional availability in the evenings and at weekends, depending on the programme.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Category B (intermediate professional grade).
