Civil servants and contract staff can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Have a youth leader profile, with the BAFA or be in training for it.
- Listen to each child's specific needs.
- Be able to plan ahead.
- Work well in a team.
- Stay calm and in control.
- Be comfortable speaking in front of a group.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by email to the town hall. Put the job title in the email subject.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
