Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because one of the open grades is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: BAFD or DEJEPS required. Other diplomas accepted, such as the BPJEPS or the professional licence in youth and leisure work.
Experience: Experienced level required
The profile they look for:
- Know the rules for children's group care centres
- Understand child development
- Manage a budget and stock
- Have management skills and run meetings well
- Show authority, rigour and autonomy
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
