Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The post is open to the grades of technicien, technicien principal de 2e classe and technicien principal de 1re classe. A contract staff member can be hired if no civil servant application has succeeded.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Science baccalaureate plus 2 years equivalent, or building technician
The profile they look for:
- Science baccalaureate plus 2 years equivalent, or building technician.
- Technical building knowledge, including building pathology.
- Knowledge of the mayor's general and special police powers.
- Ability to write a report, a formal notice and official minutes.
- Good computer skills.
- Autonomy, sense of responsibility and good people skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Safety on-call duty during the day.
